Only the Yurts have electricity. The Bungalows and Tentalows do not. However, there are common areas with power available for charging devices — located at the Pavilion and Coffee Spot.
No, we have one shared bathhouse with separate men’s and women’s sections, each with private stalls for showers and toilets.
Yes, but please use caution. Kumu Camp is located in the middle of a bay where currents can be strong. We recommend guests use their best judgment based on their swimming ability. A lifeguard station is located a few hundred feet down the beach where conditions are generally calmer.
Yes, Kumu Camp provides hot water showers. However, on rare occasions (due to maintenance, weather, or propane supply delays) hot water may be temporarily unavailable. We do our best to keep this amenity running at all times.
Kumu Camp does not provide blankets.
Bungalows & Tentalows: up to 3 people
Yurts: up to 6 people (except the Youth Yurt, which sleeps 4)
Yes, Wi-Fi is available at the Coffee Spot.
Coverage does not extend to the entire campground.
Yes! Children 10 years old and under stay free.
Check-In: anytime at or after 3:00 PM
Check-Out: by 12:00 PM
Kumu Camp Cancellation and refund policies
Cancellations made at least 14 days prior to arrival, will receive a refund of 100% of the total reservation fee. (no fee required if you choose to reschedule at that time or are given a return certificate refund)
Cancellations made at least 7 days prior to arrival will result in a 50% of stay total unless guest chooses to reschedule their stay at Kumu Camp.
Cancellations less than 6 days prior to arrival will not receive a refund.
Kumu Camp is not responsible for weather related cancellations and will not offer refunds unless if cancellations are within the time frames described.
